Celebrate America, the Largest Community Event in Placer County, Raising Money for Veteran Non-Profit

June 28 & 29 at Twin Oaks Park in Rocklin, CA

Rocklin, CA—On June 28th and 29th at Twin Oaks Park, Destiny Church will host its 14th annual Celebrate America event. The free community event features two nights of delicious food, live music, a family fun zone, a military flyover, and the largest fireworks show in the region.

As part of the event, Celebrate America will recognize and raise money for Placer Veterans Stand Down, a non-profit dedicated to providing free services to all veterans and their family members.

According to their website, while they support all veterans, there is a significant homeless problem among veterans in Placer County:

Currently, there are 600+ low-income or homeless veterans in Placer County. Due to financial, health, transportation or other issues, many do not have access or cannot afford basic services; such as food, rent, or basic medical and dental care.

Pastor Greg Fairrington, Lead Pastor of Destiny Christian Church, released the following statement during the announcement of support:

Celebrate America is an event where we celebrate our history and our values, and the brave men and women who have protected them. We are honored to support Placer Veterans Stand Down in their mission to support low-income and homeless veterans in Placer County. As a community, we stand with our servicemembers.

During the main show on June 28th and 29th at Celebrate America, Pastor Greg Fairrington will recognize the non-profit and call on the community to financially support the organization.
